Sell, buy and move calculator

What would you actually walk away with?

Put in your own numbers to see what's left after selling, what the next place costs to buy, and the moving costs people forget about.

It starts with example figures. Change anything.

These figures are estimates to help you plan. They're not legal, tax or financial advice. Stamp duty uses RevenueWA's residential rates and the first home buyer rates for agreements from 7 May 2026: no duty on a home up to $600,000 or vacant land up to $450,000, then a reduced rate up to $800,000 for a home or $550,000 for land. The First Home Owner Grant is $10,000 for a new home up to $800,000 south of the 26th parallel. Foreign buyers pay an extra 7% and don't get first home buyer concessions. Capital gains tax isn't included because it usually doesn't apply to the home you live in; if the property has been rented or used for business, ask your accountant. Rates checked October 2026. Check final figures with your settlement agent, lender, accountant and RevenueWA before relying on them.
